A pewter casting of The Isle of Anglesey or Ynys Mon. The casting shows the actual terrain of this small island and is very accurate, although small. The initial sculpt used open source 50m terrain data to create the model. This was then cast in high quality pewter, and then aged. The model is roughly 40mm X40mm and about 6mm thick.
Anglesey is a heritage rich Island on the north coast of Wales. The term ‘Mon mam Cymru is often associated with the island, and regarded as the bread basket of Wales in days gone by.
