At Môn3D, we harness the cutting-edge technology of hand-held laser scanning to capture the world around us with unparalleled precision, using our advanced Peel 3D and Raptor scanners. These nimble devices allow us to create highly detailed 3D models from real-world objects, making it easier than ever to visualise and manipulate your ideas in the digital realm. Whether you are looking to document architectural features, reverse engineer a product, or develop intricate visualisations, our scanning services provide the accuracy and flexibility needed to transform your vision into reality. With the ability to generate dense point clouds, we ensure that every nuance is captured, allowing us to bring your concepts to life in stunning detail.

From Left to right, we have my main large scale scanner. The trimble x7 with an 80m range, mainly used for building and objects down to car size.
We then have the Creality Raptor, this can scan items down to 2cms in size and provide great very fine details.
Lastly we have the Peel 3 scanner and industry workhorse for items from car size down to about 5cms.
What We Offer
PHOTOGRAMMETRY

Military Cap Badge
At Môn3D, our decade-long expertise in photogrammetry complements our advanced laser scanning services, providing a holistic approach to capturing the essence of the physical world. This technique involves transforming a series of photographs into precise 3D models, effectively creating intricate digital replicas that reflect the finest details of real-world objects and environments. By leveraging photogrammetry, we can capture complex geometries and textures that might be challenging to achieve through traditional methods, making it an invaluable tool for architects, engineers, and creatives alike. Whether you aim to document historical structures or innovate in design, our photogrammetry services enhance your vision, ensuring that every detail is represented with stunning accuracy and clarity.

Digital Model
Photogrammetry, when combined with the artistry of macro photography, unlocks a world of possibilities for capturing the exquisite details of minuscule objects that often go unnoticed. This innovative approach enables us to create stunningly accurate 3D models that showcase intricate textures and delicate features, transforming the tiniest specimens into breathtaking digital representations. Whether it’s the fine veins of a leaf, the subtle markings on a tiny insect, or the craftsmanship of miniature artworks, our photogrammetry services elevate small-scale subjects into captivating visual narratives. By harnessing this powerful technique, we ensure that every minute detail is immortalised with precision, allowing artists, researchers, and enthusiasts to explore and appreciate the beauty of the miniature world like never before.
FAQ
What is the difference between laser scanning and photogrammetry?
Laser scanning uses laser beams to capture precise measurements of physical environments, creating detailed 3D point clouds, while photogrammetry relies on photographs to reconstruct 3D models through overlapping images.
Can laser scanning capture small details? Absolutely! Our advanced equipment, like the Creality Raptor, excels at capturing intricate features as small as 2 cm, ensuring that no detail is overlooked.
How long does it take to complete a scanning project? Turnaround times vary based on project size and complexity, but we strive to deliver comprehensive results promptly without compromising on quality.
Are your services suitable for various industries?
Yes, we cater to a diverse range of sectors including architecture, heritage preservation, and product design, making our solutions versatile enough to meet unique project needs.
